Obituary of Sarah A. Hermanson

Sarah (Hawk) Hermanson, 46, of Palmer, MA passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by family. She was born on March 8, 1977, in Rockville, CT to Terry and Lillian (Chase) Hawk of Palmer. She has lived most of her life in Palmer, MA and was currently employed at Country Banks corporate office in Ware as an escrow specialist. Previously she was employed at Monson Savings Bank for 14 years. Sarah loved Christmas and her favorite movie was Elf, she had a huge heart and at Christmas would donate toys locally to Santas Elves in Palmer for children in need. Sarah loved animals and was affectionately named "Chicken Mom & Dog Mom" by her family. Besides her parents Terry and Lillian, she will be deeply missed by her husband, Michael Hermanson and her three daughters, Alexia Lambert of Palmer, Kaylee Lambert (Alex) of Ware, Olivia Hermanson (Anthony) of Palmer. She will also be dearly missed by her sister, Shannon Jones (Fransico) of Groton, CT, nieces Lindsey, Samantha and Anna, mother-in-law Helen Hermanson, sister-in-law Lisa Haughey (Happy), brothers-in-law, Ray and Stevie (Melissa) Hermanson, her godchild/niece Josie and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Donations in her memory may be made to either Dakin Humane Society or Shriners Hospital for Children in Springfield, MA.
