Obituary of Brenda Modugno

Brenda Modugno, 61, of Warren, MA passed away February 28, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. She was born on August 9, 1962, in Palmer, MA to Charles A. and Jacqueline (Gleason) Modugno. Brenda grew up in Brimfield and graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School in Sturbridge. After graduating she attended Burdett Business College where she received her Associates Degree in Accounting. Brenda and her brother Steve were the co-owners of Texas Chuck Wagon Foods. She loved the beach! In her youth she would spend summers at the beach camping with family. Her love of camping continued into her adulthood where she enjoyed camping with family and friends in Gloucester. MA and Hermit Island in Maine. Brenda had a passion for cooking, in particular, Italian food. She loved cooking for large gatherings. She will be deeply missed by her two brothers, Steven Modugno and his wife Gail of Brimfield, David Modugno of Easthampton, and also by her niece Jessica, her husband Drew and their children Grace and Avery. She also leaves her fur babies, Sylvester and Cairo. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her life partner Scott A. Greene. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
