Obituary of Jason Thomas Suchenicz

South Hadley- Jason Thomas Suchenicz, 50, passed away April 19, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 24, 1973 in Holyoke, the son of Thomas and Vera (Warren) Suchenicz. Jason graduated from Granby High in 1991 and earned his degree from the Dean Tech School of Nursing. He was always passionate about nursing, and worked as an LPN in rehabilitation and geriatrics. Jason could fix anything and found great joy in completing hands-on projects for his family and friends. He also loved car shows and fishing. Jason was preceded in death by his mom, Vera Suchenicz in 2014. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Janine LaRue; daughter, Marika Van Valkenburgh; father, Thomas Suchenicz; and his sister, Trisha Sears. Services are being held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jason's name can be made to Hospice of the Fisher Home, 1165 N. Pleasant St. Amherst, MA 01002.
