Obituary of Marielle M. Lallier

Bondsville, MA- Marielle M. L'allier, 82, passed away August 28, 2021 at her home.

She was born on July 31, 1939 in Chartierville, Quebec, Canada to Delphis L'allier and Emma (Taverner) Boulay, one of 15 children.

Hinsdale, NH was her home for over 30 years before moving to Bondsville, MA to be closer to great grandchildren.

She spent her life working and caring for family, but from California to Massachusetts she was loved by everyone she met. Lovingly referred to as "Gram" by friends and family.

In retirement she found work at several nursing homes and eventually a school kitchen. Her need to help people out weighed her hobbies: sewing, quilting, and gardening.

She was predeceased by her second husband Frederick Quinn and later on by her first husband Romeo Shaink, whom she had reconnected with later in life.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter Lynda Shaink, with whom she lived, and her son Rock Shaink and his wife Robin of Hinsdale, NH.

She was also survived by 9 grandchildren, Rock Jr and his wife Jen, Nick and his wife Melissa, Chris, Ryan and his wife Vicky, Jonathan and his wife Jen, Ashley, Kyle, Alex, Julian, and 4 great granddaughters, Klara, Kierstyn, Khloe and Nathalie.
