The Gagne family is sad to hear of Joy's passing and offer condolence to Scott, Jessica, John, Joshua and the extended family. We will keep everyone in our prayer's and thoughts of Joy having now moved onto a better place. She was indeed a very special person and all those who were lucky enough to have had their lives touched by her surely held her in high regard as someone who shared space in their heart. We will all miss Joy, but we will never forget what she meant to so many. With deepest regrets, Glenn, Barbara, Collin, Keaton and Lauren

When I think of Joy, I think not only of how very much I admire the work she did, especially with hospice patients, but also of the great joy she brought to my brother Scott’s life. I remember one afternoon when Charlie and I were driving near Londonderry and, on a whim, drove up the driveway to Scott and Joy’s house. It was mid-afternoon on a cold Saturday. They were both in their robes, and had been watching cooking shows on tv all day, just hanging out together, enjoying each other’s company, talking about things they wanted to cook together. We all talked about one of our favorite topics – food – and I remember thinking as we drove away how thrilled I was that Scott had found a woman with whom he was so very happy. I know Scott and Joy had many of those wonderful, comfortable times and hope the memory of them will be a comfort in the days ahead. From Charlie and me, our deepest condolences to Scott, to Jessica, to John and Joshua, and to the rest of Joy’s family. May she rest in peace.

Scott, I was so sorry to hear about Joy. She was a great person and I enjoyed working with her at Birchwood. We had some great times there. I know meeting you was good for her, I remember when she met you and how she'd talk about this cutie she'd met. I did not realize how ill she had been. I know times like this just stink, but I hope this will find her peace now. Take care of yourself. Bonnie
