Dear Family of Edna: I was so saddened to read about your wonderful mother. She lived, for years, next door to my Mom and Dad in Three Rivers--Wanda and Bill Barry--who considered her a dear friend and valued neighbor. When I lost my own Mom in 2002--rest her precious soul--Edna sent Dad and me a beautiful sympathy card, with even more touching-and-tender written sentiments. Although I lived away for many years, I recall them recounting visits to her in Warren...going out for lunch and enjoying lunches she made for them there. She was truly a lovely, loving lady and Dad and I send our most heartful thoughts and prayers to all of you.

It's my selfishness that makes me cry. I wasn't ready to say good-bye. I wasn't ready to let you go. I pray you know I loved you so. It's me, not you who suffers here. I know your life goes on, somewhere. I know that I should celebrate. You've walked through Heaven's glorious gate. But, still I can't stop thinking of, your smile, your touch, your special love. I know that you hear what I say. It's just done in a different way. And, so I want to send you this to you, the one I love and miss All my love upon an Angel's Kiss

Grammy, Your gentle face and patient smile, with sadness we recall. You had a kindly word for each and died beloved by all. The voice is mute and stilled the heart, that loved us well and true. Ah, bitter was the trial to part from one so good as you. You are not forgotten loved one, nor will you ever be. As long as life and memory last, we will remember thee. We miss you more, your loving smile, your gentle face, no one can take your vacant place. Love you, Brenda and Donnie

Mom, Kind and gentle, meek and mild, you always had a smile. You raised me to be the man I am,and prayed for me everyday. With tears,I am sorry you left this world behind, but now I hear your voice from afar and feel you by my side. With much LOVE AND thanks, Your son, Gordon

MOM You always leaned to watch for us, Anxious if we were late. In winter by the window In summer by the gate. And though we mocked you tenderly, Who had such foolish care. The long way home would seem more safe, Because you waited there. Your thoughts were all so full of us, You could never forget! And so we think that where you are You must be watching yet. Waiting till we come home to you, Anxious if we are late- Waiting from heaven's window Leaning from heaven's gate Love Shirl & Rog
