Obituary of Ann M. Topor

"South Hadley- Ann M. (Charbonneau) Topor, 56, of Westbrook Rd., passed away January 6, 2007 at Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Ware, MA on November 5, 1950. She was the daughter of Gertrude A. (LaBossiere) Charbonneau of Granby and the late Marcel W. Charbonneau. Ann lived in South Hadley since 1980, previously residing in Palmer and Granby. She worked for the past year and a half at Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer as a Free Care Analyst. Prior to that, she was employed for 26 years at Smith & Wesson as the Administrator of Identi-Kit. Ann was an avid reader and a member of St. Theresa’s Church. Besides her mother Gertrude, she will be greatly missed by her husband of 35 years, Michael along with her son Kevin and his wife Cara of Westfield, and her son Jeffrey of S.Hadley. She also leaves a brother Marc and his wife Cindy Charbonneau of Westfield and sister Andrea and her husband Rainer Stachowitz of Springfield, VA. Ann was looking forward to welcoming her first granddaughter in March of this year. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Beers & Story S.Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St. (Rte 116) followed by a memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church, S.Hadley. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202. "
