Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. May you find the strength to endure the loss through the connection you all share as a family. And may your memories help you to heal in the years to come as he has left them as a legacy within each of you. God bless you.

Dear Aunt Pat, all my cousins and their families, We were saddened to hear about Uncle Ernie. I have such fond memories of the time we lived with you all, thanks to the Air Force\\\'s lack of available housing. He and my Dad never seemed to mind hauling all of us kids to Burger King in the roomy station wagon, even though we were singing \\\"McDonald\\\'s is your kind of place\\\" at the top of our lungs. We loved him! Our prayers are with you. Sincerely, Patrick, Denise, Rosi & Davis Simmons

My prayers are with you and Michael, Maureen, Kevin, Kelly, Ricky, Danny, David, and Matthew and their families. (I always loved being able to say everyone\\\'s name--in order). I will always have warm, loving memories of Ernie and cannot thank him and you, Aunt Pat, for putting up with all us Von Hoene kids when we visited and lived with you for those months while Dad looked for a house. What a blast we had! :) And what a sacrifice that must have been. THANK YOU and Ernie for being soooo generous to us. I will always be thankful for that and for your love and kindness. May God Bless you and your family ALWAYS! Love - Eric VH
