Obituary of Ralph W. Ingham

"Ralph W. Ingham, 91, of Pheasant Hill died Wednesday at Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Chicopee March 16, 1915 he was the son of the late John and Lena (Morrison) Ingham. He grew up in Chicopee and moved to Granby in 1950. Ralph worked for Stanley Home Products for 30 years, retiring as a project engineer in 1980. He had previously worked for the Springfield Armory and General Electric. He had also been a member of the Whiting Lodge of Masons, and served as a deacon in the United Church of Christ in Granby. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 65 years, Doris (Stevenson) Ingham, along with his son James Ingham and daughter Linda Courchesne both of Granby, as well as his precious granddaughter Lisa Courchesne also of Granby. He also leaves two sisters Verna and Grace Ingham of Holyoke. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters Gladys Carroll and Muriel Ingham. A funeral service will be Saturday, December 2 at 10:00 a.m. in the Beers & Story S. Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton Street (Rte 116) followed by burial in West Cemetery, Granby. Calling hours are Friday, December 1 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to Granby Ambulance Service, State St., Granby, 01033. "
