Obituary of Kenneth James Odell

" Kenneth J. Odell, Sr., 77, of Cottage St., died on Nov. 20, 2006 at Baystate Medical Center. Born on Nov. 8, 1929 in Ware, MA, he was the son of the late James L. and Albina L. (Lanou) Odell. Kenneth was a graduate of Palmer High School and resided in Bondsville before moving to W. Warren 34 years ago. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was a life member of the W. Warren VFW and White Eagles. In the early 1960’s he owned and operated Little Kens Restaurant in Ware and retired in 1994 from Warren Pump as a machinist after working for many years. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Eleanor (Ryea) Odell and three sons Kenneth Jr., and his wife Linda of Newport News, VA, Kevin and his wife Nicole of Ware and Brian of W. Warren. He will also be missed by four grandchildren Brittany, Connor, Alexander and Nathanial. A Memorial service will be held on Monday at 11:00am at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, followed by burial in Wales Cemetery #4. A calling hour will be Monday from 10:00-11:00am.
