Obituary of Wendall E. Ryea

"Wendall E. Ryea, 69 of Cottage St., died at his home. He was born in Enosburg Falls, VT on September 26, 1937 and was a 1956 graduate of Brigham Academy in Bakersfield, VT. After high school, he moved to W. Warren where he lived until his death. He worked for 40 years at the former Cascade Diamond in Thorndike and played in a horseshoe league in Palmer. He also enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing in his leisure. He is survived by his sister Eleanor Odell of W. Warren, a brother Roger Ryea of Helena, NY, and three nieces Debbie Srodulski, Norma Aldrich and Karen Ryea as well as two nephews Kevin and Brian Odell. He was predeceased by a brother Wilfred in 2001. A memorial service will be Monday, November 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beers & story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., Palmer, followed by burial in Wales Cemetery #4. For those wishing, donations may be made in his memory to the family, Eleanor Odell, for the benefit of a trust."
