Obituary of Brian F. Minns

" Brian F. Minns, 40, died suddenly Sunday Nov. 5 on Cape Cod, one of his favorite childhood places. Born June 12, 1966 in Holyoke, MA son of Albert T. and Maureen E. (Denning) Minns of Palmer. Brian was a graduate of Palmer high School where he competed in track and field and tennis. He also served in the US Coast Guard. Brian worked for several local cable companies throughout the years. Brian loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, softball and mountain biking. Brian had a great sense of humor, a great laugh and a huge heart. Besides his parents he leaves his loving sister Nancy Minns Bolton and her partner Julie of Monson. He leaves his nephew Ryan Minns of Three Rivers, his nieces Kate Bolton of Jamaica Plain, Lisa Martin (Joe) of Monson and Jessica Carroll (Don) of Bondsville. He also leaves two great nephews, two great nieces and many friends. Brian will be sadly missed by many people. Brian was predeceased by a brother Thomas A. Minns in1987 and a sister Ellen M. Adams in 1997. A Funeral service will be Friday at 9:15am from the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am in St. Thomas Church. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4:00-7:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Quaboag Valley Hospice, 42B Wright St., Palmer, MA 01069. "
