Obituary of Ruth L. Roberts

"Brimfield- Ruth L. (Theberge) Roberts, 84, of Washington Rd., passed away August 18, 2006 at Harrington Memorial Hospital. Born July 5, 1922 in Warren, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lovina (Brodeur) Theberge. Ruth lived in Brimfield for most of her life and was a communicant of St. Thomas Church in Palmer. She worked for over 20 years at Wm Wright Co. in W. Warren. Ruth loved her home and enjoyed painting, singing and taking care of her lawn. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William. Ruth was the youngest of ten children, all which predeceased her. She also leaves her in-laws, George Roberts of Warren, Connie Roberts of Hardwick, Raymond and his wife Ruth Roberts of Brimfield, Roy and his wife Eleanor Roberts of W. Brookfield along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by a mass of Christian burial in St. Thomas Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Brimfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. For those wishing, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. "
