Obituary of Timothy M. Maher

" Timothy M. Maher, 32 of Perkins Ave. died Sunday at home. Born in Northampton, October 30, 1973, he was the son of Robert F. and Beverly A. (Wood) of Granby. He lived most of his life there and was a graduate from Hopkins Academy. Tim was an avid fisherman and accomplished skiier. He also enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters Kerry Loux and her husband Douglas of Florence and Christine Langlois and her husband Lawrence of Holyoke and three nieces. He was predeceased by a brother Steven (2002) and a nephew Nathaniel(1999). A funeral mass will be Thursday, August 17 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Church, Belchertown followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Northampton. Friends and family may meet at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St., (Rte. 202) for 9:00 a.m. Calling hours are Wednesday, August 16 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Northampton Survival Center, 265 Prospect St., 01060.
