Obituary of Eugene E. Heath

"Belchertown- Eugene E. Heath, 71, of Chauncey Walker St. passed away July 7, 2006. Born June 23, 1935, he was the son of the late William B. and Cora (Piper) Heath. He has lived in Belchertown for the past 6 years, previously living in Granby for 34 years. Eugene worked for the former Acme Chain in Holyoke for over 36 years as a supervisor of the press room. He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Marines and enjoyed yard work, gardening and bowling. The “Sugar Master”, as he was known by his family, maple sugared at Deer Hollow Maple Farm in Granby for 7 years. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jeannette (Pelletier), children Michael and his wife Lori of Bastrop, TX, Richard and his wife Linda of Chicopee, Jeanine Sills and her husband Russell of Granby, and Daniel and his wife Nancy of Chicopee along with a sister Agnes Moczulewski and her husband Stanley of Northampton, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. All services will be privately held and Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Baystate VNA & Hospice, 50 Maple St., Springfield, MA"
