Obituary of Letitia A. Graves

"Belchertown-Letitia Agnes Graves, 70, passed away July 3, 2006 at her home. Born March 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Dalton) Graves. Letitia has lived in Belchertown since August of 2004, previously residing in Merrimac, MA. She worked for Lucent as a Material Requirement Specialist for 40 years before her retirement in 2001. Letitia loved animals, especially dogs, and adopted many through her life. During her younger years, she also enjoyed softball. Letitia is survived by her twin sister Patricia A. Tessier of Cape Cod, her brother William C. Graves of Hampden, 4 nieces, 4 nephews, and many grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Lawrence and sister Barbara E. Graves. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:00 a.m. from the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St. (Rte 202), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Francis Church also in Belchertown. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Springfield. Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Quaboag Valley Hospice, 42B Wright St., Palmer, MA 01069. "
