Obituary of Marie Alice Kusnierz

"Belchertown – Marie A. (Starsiak) Kusnierz, 60, of Cold Spring Rd., passed away with her family by her side at Baystate Medical Center on July 1, 2006. Born on Feb. 7, 1946 in Ludlow, MA, she was the daughter of the late Louis & Mary (Kohanek) Starsiak. Marie was raised in Springfield and lived in South Hadley for 20 years before moving to Belchertown 12 years ago. She was a supervisor at Dunkin Donuts in Belchertown for several years. In her leisure, she enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, David Kusnierz, a son Dan and his wife Nancy of Garland, ME, a daughter Laurie Bloom and her husband Christopher of Hadley, and two grandchildren Brett and Will Kusnierz. Marie’s sister Cynthia Dorsey of Chicopee and two brothers, Ronald of Springfield and Donald of E. Longmeadow also survive her. She also leaves her loyal golden retrievers Jack & Rosie. A Memorial mass will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church in Belchertown. Calling hours are Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Belchertown EMS, 9 E.
