Obituary of Rita M. Cote

"Rita M. (Mathieu) Cote, 87, died on February 11, 2010 at her daughter's home in Groton, MA. She was born August 4, 1922 in Beauceville, Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Arsene & Rachael Mathieu. Rita retired in 1985, after working as an assembler for Mercury Plastic in Chicopee for 23 years. She was a communicant of St. Anne's Church. She is survived by her husband Roland U. Cote and three children, Joyce L. Merriman and husband Donald of Ludlow, Janice T. Cote and husband Donald Priore of Groton and Ronald J. Cote of Holyoke. She also leaves a sister Claire Mathieu of Beauceville, Canada, two grandchildren Valerie Graham of Sanford, NC and Matthew Priore of Groton, numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass is being held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hour will be Saturday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. "
