Obituary of Wilfred N. Ridenour

"Wilfred N. "Bill" Ridenour , 88, of Harrington Way died on February 15, 2010 at his home after a long illness. He was born August 18, 1921 in FL, son of Charles and Bessie Ridenour. Serving his country during WWII in the US Air Force as a Major, Bill was a pilot and was decorated with several flying crosses. The Loving Cup Antiques on the Belchertown common was Bill's connection to the town. Wilfred was preceded in death by his wife Alice many years ago. He leaves many close friends and dear care givers. Visitation will be held Wednesday February 24th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St., (Rte 202). Burial with military honors will take place at the MA Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in the spring.
