Obituary of June M. Grout

"Palmer, June M. (Shattuck) Grout, 64, of Fletcher St., died Thursday, February 18 at UMASS Medical Center. Born in Charlton, November 8, 1945, she has lived here most of her life and was the assistant manager at FL Roberts in Palmer before retiring. She had also worked for Palmer Trucking. She was a NASCAR and football fan, and enjoyed cooking. She will be deeply missed by her loving former husband Charles E. Grout of Belchertown, her children Gerry Ann St. Pierre and Kimberly Grout of Belchertown, Joanne Grout of Southampton, and step daughter, Darlene Sarnelli of Chicopee, along with sons Corey and Mark Griffith of NH. She also leaves a sister Carolyn Campagna of Middletown, CT, nine grandchildren, Jessica and Marc St. Pierre, Brittany and Jaylynn Grout, Michael, Matthew, Nicholas Sarnelli, Alicia and Maisun Grout-Rollins, two nieces and a nephew. Calling hours will be Sunday, February 28 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N.
