Obituary of Conrad J. Desroches

"Belchertown - Conrad J. Desroches, 46, of North Washington St. died on February 8, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. He was born July 31, 1963 in Holyoke, MA, son of Paul and Carole (Barcome) Desroches of Belchertown. Conrad worked as a truck driver for Palmer Dedicated Logistics for two years and previously for Friendly's. He was a graduate of Belchertown High and communicant of St. Francis Church. Conrad loved hunting in New York, playing golf and carpentry. Besides his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Lisa (Walczak)Desroches and two sons Aaron and Justin of Belchertown. He will also be missed by five siblings Kim Dion, Carole Desroches, Crystal Lavigne, Destiny Dixon all of Belchertown and Keith Desroches of Georgia. He also leaves his mother and father in-law Frank and Margaret Walczak of Belchertown, sister-in-law Laurie Bellucci and brother-in-law David Walczak, his special dogs Angel and Peaches, many nieces, nephews and a great niece. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday at 9:15 a.m. to follow in procession to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Church. Burial will follow in the St. Rose Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours will be Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, Belchertown, MA.
