Obituary of Gertrude Rose Dupuis

"Ware-Gertrude R. Dupuis, 97, of Stony Point Dr., passed away July 12 at her granddaughter’s home in Palmer. Born June 27, 1908 she was the daughter of the late Clement and Precilla (Mannie) Racette. Gertrude was raised in Palmer and has lived in Ware since 1976. She was a member of the former Mt. Carmel Church, which then became All Saints Church in Ware. She was also a member of the Senior Center. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband Theodore in 1975 and is survived by her grandchildren Steven Kusek of Bondsville, Stanley Kusek of Gilbertville, David Kusek, Anthony Kusek, Alan Kusek all of Ware, Laurel Dickson of Bondsville, a sister Jeanette Syper of Palmer and 8 great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Gertrude was predeceased by her only daughter Audrey Kusek in 1964. A Mass a Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Church followed by burial in St. Anne’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Donations may be made in her memory to Quaboag Valley Hospice, 42B Wright St., Palmer, MA 01069. "
