Obituary of Robert L. Marier

" Brimfield – Robert L. Marier, 72, of Willow Cr., died Tuesday at Palmer Health Care Center. Born on Apr. 5, 1933, he was the son of the late Felix and Florence (Roberts) Marier. Robert was raised in Three Rivers and has resided in Brimfield for the past 28 years he also resided in Lake Placid, FL. He was a WWII Navy Veteran who served during the Korean War. He worked for TJ MAXX in Worcester in the maintenance department for 10 years, and retired in 1995, previously he worked for Springfield Foundry for 27 years. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Marjorie (Brothers) Marier. He also leaves a son Daniel D. Marier of Bremerton, WA, and two daughters Donna M. Vadnais of Brimfield, and Denise E. Faulkner of Three Rivers also five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He will also be missed by a brother Russell Marier of Brimfield and three sisters Regina Schlesinger of Palmer, Ruth Soglia of Ottis and Olive St. Germain of New Bedford, MA. A Funeral service will be Saturday at 9:15 am from the BEERS & STORY PALMER FUNERAL HOME followed by a mass of Christian liturgy at 10:00 am in St. Thomas Church, followed by burial in St. Anne’s Cemetery.
