Obituary of Enrico Uguccioni

"Enrico "Harry" Uguccioni was born in Three Rivers, MA on February 1, 1922. He was 83 years old and died June 2, 2005. He owned Harry’s Motor Service in Palmer, MA for 35 years, retiring in 1981. He served as a pilot and flight engineer on B-29’s in WWII. Harry was chairman of the school building committee of Pathfinder Regional Vocational High School in Three Rivers, MA. He was also an avid golfer and had 8 holes in one. Harry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn (Modrunic), and four children; Janice Uguccioni of Waltham, MA, David Uguccioni of Three Rivers, Robert and his wife Shelley of Colrain, MA, and James and his partner Helen Gibson of Montague, MA, three grandchildren, Dominick and Gina Uguccioni of Colrain, and Matthew Machesney of Houston, TX and Iraq. He also leaves sister-in-law Barbara Graziano and her husband Bruno of Marshall, VA and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Visitation will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Pathfinder Regional Vocational High School, Palmer Healthcare Family Council, 250 Shearer St., Palmer, MA 01069 or Palmer Library, N.
