Obituary of Deborah Marie Fitch

"S. Hadley – Deborah M. (Davis) Fitch, 33, of Dale St. died on May 28, 2005 at home surrounded by her family after her battle with cancer. Born in Springfield, October 2, 1971, she is the daughter of Richard E. Davis of Agawam and the late Anne (Collins) Davis. Deborah moved to S. Hadley six years ago, previously living in Chicopee and Huntington. She was a graduated of Smith Vocational High School where she received her cosmetology license. She also attended Holyoke Community College and earned her associates degree in Arts & Science. Deborah worked for Tac Medical in Springfield in the field of home health care for 3 years, and was a member of Bethany Assembly of God in Huntington. Deborah was a loving and devoted mother to her children and cherished every moment with them. Deborah was predeceased by her husband Steven Fitch in 1995. Besides her father, she is survived by two children Steven R. Fitch and Emily Wojtczak at home, two sisters Sheila Douglas of Russell and Margaret Davis of Springfield and a brother Richard Davis, Jr. of Westfield. She also leaves her fiancé Richard Wojtczak with whom she lived, her uncle David and his wife Kathleen Collins of Longmeadow, her mother and father-in-law George and Jean Fitch of Westfield and two friends Rebecca Robbins of Westfield and Jennifer Knoop of Southwick. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at the Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St. (Rt116). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8pm a video tribute will be show throughout calling hours. Burial will follow in Mater Delorosa Cemetery in S. Hadley.
