Obituary of Robert T. Bushorr

"Brimfield - Robert T. Bushorr, 59, of Dunhamtown Palmer Rd. died on December 5, 2009. He was born December 7, 1949 in Syracuse, NY, son of the late Harold Bushorr and Frances (Grentzer) Toth of Phoenix, AZ. Bob served his country during Vietnam in the US Navy. Robert worked for the United States Postal Service in Springfield for 35 years as a field maintenance specialist. He was the President of Swift River Sportsman Club in Belchertown and a member of the Western Mass Industrial Pistol League. In his leisure, he enjoyed hunting and spending time with his horses Smokey and Bandet. He is survived by his wife Marie (Despres) Brodeur, son Kip Bushorr of E. Windsor, CT, mother and stepfather, Frances and Zoltan Toth of Phoenix, AZ, and a brother Terry Bushorr of Belchertown. He also leaves three stepchildren Benjamin, Emilie and Angela Brodeur. A Memorial Service will be held at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home on Sunday at 2:00 PM. Calling hours will precede the service Sun. from 12-2:00p.m A graveside service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Mass. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery on Main St., in Agawam. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pioneer Valley Therapeutic Riding Association, PO Box 944, Belchertown, MA 01007. "
