Obituary of Lorraine L. Rivers

"Lorraine L. (Leclerc) Rivers, 86 died Sunday, November 29 in Wilbraham. Born in Ware, September 29, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Mathieu) Leclerc. She lived in Chicopee for many years and was head of marketing and purchasing at the former Belchertown State School before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee and in her leisure loved bingo. She will be deeply missed by her son Ronald and his wife Linda of Ware along with her 4 grandchildren, Michael Rivers of Bozeman, MT, James Rivers of Hyde Park, VT, and Robert Rivers of San Diego, CA, and Rochelle Stellato and her husband Robert of E. Longmeadow, and her great grandson, Logan Robert Mario Stellato. Besides her parents, her husband Raymond and a son Robert R. Rivers, Sr. preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her 6 siblings, Jeanette Sullivan, Ora Morely, Rose Robert, Terry Leclerc, Robert Leclerc, and Ernest Leclerc. The family acknowledges with deep love and thanks the care given by all of her nieces and nephews, along with the wonderful staff at Wingate at Wilbraham. A family graveside service will be held Friday, December 4 at (time) at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Chicopee. Beers & Story Funeral Home has been entrusted with her arrangements."
