Obituary of Donna J. Lachance

"Belchertown – Donna J.(Hess) Lachance, 47, of Maplecrest Dr. St., died at her home on April 24, 2005 surrounded by her family. Born on Feb. 11, 1958 in Morrisville, VT, she was the daughter of the late James G. Hess and Ann L. (Lanpher) Hess of Belchertown. Donna was raised and educated in Belchertown, and graduated in the class of 1976. She was a communicant of St. Francis Church. Donna worked for 25 years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in various positions. Besides her mother, she will be missed by her devoted husband of 27 years, Robert Lachance, son Evan and daughter Alyssa both at home. Donna also leaves two brothers Darwin Hess of West Brookfield, Donald Hess of Belchertown and two sisters Debbie Holbrook of Brookfield and Diana Lizak of Jefferson, NH, many nieces, nephews and friends and her co-workers and friends at Abbey Lane. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 9:15 am from the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home followed by a mass of Christian liturgy at 10:00 am at St. Francis Church. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00-7:30 pm with a Celebration of life and video tribute at 7:30pm.
