Obituary of Rayna S. LaBrecque

"Monson- Rayna S. (Webb) LaBrecque, 43, passed away March 18 at a friend’s home in Springfield. Born September 13, 1961 in New London, CT, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Shirley (Pierce) Webb. Rae was previously a member of Wales Baptist Church and attended Wales Elementary and Ludlow High School. She had worked at Monson State Hospital as a dietary aide, the former Ring Nursing Home in Springfield, and a bus driver for Laidlaw. She also previously worked for Jane Alden Convenience Store in Palmer and currently worked as a sales associate at O’Connell’s Gas Station in Palmer. Rae is survived by her daughter Jessica LaBrecque of Thorndike, two sisters, Valerie Salsbury of Chicopee, Harriett “Cricket” Webb of Lowell, and her four grandchildren Ashley, Anna, Todd Jr., and Rayna Walker. She also leaves her dear friends Donna and Tim McCarthy and family with whom she lived since January, along with many nieces and nephews, and her dog Scooby. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St. (Rte 20) followed by burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson. Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rayna’s memory to Baystate VNA and Hospice, 50 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01102. "
