Obituary of Anita Gertrude Tetreault

" Anita G. (L’Heureux) Tetreault, 84, of Fletcher St., passed away March 1st at Palmer House surrounded by her family. Born March 2, 1920 in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Albric and Reseda (Lafaille) L’Heureux. Anita has lived in Palmer since 1948 and worked for 12 years at Zero Manufacturing before retiring in 1982. She was formerly active in the Palmer Senior Center and Nimble Fingers, and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 17 years. Anita enjoyed knitting and donated countless pairs of mittens for area organizations. She was a communicant of St. Anne’s Church. She is survived by her daughter Diane St. Amand and son-in-law Roger of Ludlow, three grandchildren Mark Bisnette of NC, Lori Dziedzic and her husband John of Palmer, Jimmy Bisnette and his wife Linda of Ware. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandaughter. She also leaves her special friend, Robert Cormier of Palmer. A liturgy of Christian burial will be held Saturday March 5th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Donations may be made in Anita’s memory to Palmer Healthcare Center, 250 Shearer St., Palmer, MA 01069. "
