Obituary of Trent L. Avery

"Trent L. Avery, 3 ½, of Bondsville and Belchertown, passed away February 23 after over a year battle with cancer. Born in Ware, MA, May 7, 2001, he is the son of Gary Avery, Jr. of Belchertown and Erica Murphy of Bondsville. Trent was a true little boy who loved trucks, working on cars, tools, trains, and Harley bikes. In 2004, he received his very own Harley bike from a friend he met at the Relay for Life Cancer Walk. Trent was everyone’s “Little Buddy” and loved to play and spend time with all of his family and friends. Trent will be deeply missed by his parents, brother Adam, fraternal grandparents Mary Ann and Gary W. Avery of Belchertown, maternal grandparents Brenda and Philip Opielowski of Palmer, great grandparents Lorraine Guillette of Gilbertville, Ruth and Ted Murphy of Warren and Stephanie Opielowski of Palmer, aunts, step-aunts, uncles, and cousins. A service of Remembrance will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, burial will follow in Four Corners Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Donations may be made in Trent’s memory to Griffin’s Friends in Springfield, MA in memory of all the love and support given to this and so many families or to Ann Marie Cancer Fund in Barre, MA.
