Obituary of Marcy Deann Roberts

" Marcy D. (Brewer) Roberts, 57, of Center Street, died Friday, February 4, 2005 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Omaha, NE November 2, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Maxhall and Eva Janice Brewer and has lived in Ludlow for the past 5 years. Marcy was a person who made friends instantly and as she and her family lived in many areas of the country, her network of friends and relationships is extensive. She will be remembered for many things, including her strong values, openness to everyone, and her grounded faith and loving nature. She will be deeply missed by her husband and best friend, Michael W. “Mickey” Roberts, along with her son Michael Scott and his wife Luree of Ocala, FL, and daughter Michelle and her husband Donald Sanborn of Belmont, NH, as well as her sister Nonie C. Shurtliff of Oxnard, CA, and brothers John E. McSherry of Fullerton, CA and Michael McSherry of Orange County, CA. She will also be missed by her cherished grandchildren Michael, Moriah and Levi Sanborn and Trent and Cameron Williams. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, February 9 at 10:30 a.m. at the Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton Street, (Rte. 116). Burial will be at a later date in Iowa. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 8 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. For those wishing, donations may be made in her memory to the D’Amour Center for Cancer Care, 3350 Main Street, Springfield, or Baystate VNA and Hospice, 50 Maple St, Springfield, 01102-9058."
