Obituary of Theresa Lagacy

"Theresa M. (LeBlanc) Lagacy, 69, of St. John St., died peacefully on Thursday, September 24 at home. Born in Fitchburg, June 15, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Thaddeus and Agnes LeBlanc. She lived for many years in Springfield, before moving to Palmer in 1992. She retired from Gentiva Health Services in Springfield after many years. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 49 years, Richard, along with her three children Christopher and his wife Monique of Phillipston, Joseph and his wife Barbara of Ware and Elizabeth of Palmer. She also leaves a brother Robert of Kansas City, KS and two grandchildren Ellisha and Eric Lagacy, and her dearest friend Alice Stelzer of CT. Calling hours will be Monday, September 28 from 5:00 –7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte. 20). Friends and family may gather Tuesday, September 29 by 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home to process to St. Thomas Church for a liturgy of Christian burial to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
