I used to live across the street and his sister Holly would babysit me. I remember being extremely impressed with Dana's mechanical abilities. Where I left off he was building a car, a whole car, at something like 14 or 15 years old. I also thought he had bad-boy good looks, like singer Steve Miller. My strongest and fondest memory of Dana happened when I was 7 and he was probably about 13. The chain had slipped off on my bike, so I brought it to the older kid with all the tools and know-how. "Dana, will you fix my bike?" He rolled his eyes, sneered, and mocked "Dana, will you fix my bike? Dana will you fix my bike?", the whole time fixing my bike! He was very sweet but didn't necessarily want everyone to know that.
