Obituary of William N. Lambert

"South Hadley, William N. Lambert, 76, died Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Holyoke Medical Center with his family by his side. Born in Holyoke, MA on April 24, 1933, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Frances (Nutley) Lambert. Bill was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a communicant of St. Theresa's Church. He was employed as a bricklayer and was a Gold Card member of the Bricklayers Union #1 of MA/VT. He enjoyed fishing and time with his loving family. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Jean (Skomial) Lambert, along with his four children, Carlene Marcotte and her husband Bryan of South Hadley, Steven of Holyoke, Brian and his wife Trish of West Haven, CT and David and his wife Ann Marie of Warwick, MA. His eight cherished grandchildren and one great grandson and his sister, Judith Waring of San Antonio, TX, also survive him. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Debra (Benoit) Lambert in 2002. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 29 at Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. followed by a memorial mass at St. Theresa's Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
