Obituary of Blanche Josephine Howe

"Blanche J. Howe, 84, of Church Street in the Thorndike section of Palmer, died Jan. 5 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Monson, February 29, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Tilley) Howe. The last of twelve children, she was a lifelong resident of Thorndike. She retired from the former C.F. Church Co. in Monson after 42 years of service. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, including her nephew John Howe of Thorndike, who she raised as a son. She also leaves many grand and great grand nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, January 8 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Four Corners Cemetery."
