I am cleaning out my failing hard drive and I found my links folder. In that folder was a link to Anne's site. I remember vividly using her site many times for my websites (which were on Yahoo Geocities and gone now). I know this is almost 2 yrs late, but I wanted to offer my sincere condolences to Anne's family on her loss. May God be with you always. [[[hugs]]] (ps..is your name pronounced "mur-'ell" or "me'-rull", Mine's the former)

Hi, I first used some of your Mum's images several years ago on my family website, I was recently updating it and looked to your mum's website for inspiration again, only to learn of her passing. Though late, I hope your family will accept the condolences of my family in your loss. From your description she sounds like she was a wonderful lady. Merry Christmas to all your family.

I had no idea that your mom had passed away. I too have been online since about 1997 and built sites the same way, by hand.I am also a nurse and an EMT so in your mother I saw a kindred spirit. I lost my own mother at the end of August, who was also 72, and came back to Anns site to find that she too had passed away. I work full time now, managing and building websites. If I can help you in any way to keep your mothers alive, please don't hesitate to contact me I'll be pleased to donate my time to it. RD.

It is with great sadness that I read about Anne's passing. I found her website right after she set it up and have used so many of her graphics over the years. I always sort of felt a kinship with her since my name is spelled Anne with an "E". I have so enjoyed using her numerous free gifts. I want to express my gratitude to her children for what their mother has done with her website. And I want them to know that I am praying for all of them.

Although we saw this day coming we are ill prepared for the depth of emotion it brought. In part because she was our mother, but mostly because to fought so hard and so long to get well. It breaks our hearts. We have memories and we have her web site to help us remember. Correction Mom's web site is www.d21c.com/AnnesPlace The A and P must be capitalized. Anne's Place is the web site Mom created with webtv and html. She made her site over many years, long before Dad passed. She stopped working on it after Mark passed. She won an award from Tripod and was taken to dinner in Boston by the Executives of the company for creating the largest traffic, and best design back in the day when skill and knowledge were needed as there were no software's to create sites as yet. Pixels by pixel dot by dot she created her images. No one taught her how, she was called to create them and this site. People all over the world have visited her site, sent her messages, cards and flowers and supported her site with their donations. I am not surprised to see them visit her memorial here. I am grateful for their love, friendship and appreciation of Mom's creations. God bless her web friends, Lee (aka Linda) P. S. So much of her is in her site, her love of color, teddy bears, holidays, greetings, glitter images, patriotism, her brilliance, her favorite music, I would always tear up when I click a link and hear a tune or see an image that evokes a memory or feeling she might have experienced while creating that particular gif. I smile when I click gif's with cute and happy themes, I love her butterflies, she made different gif's with us in mind, they are gifts to us. But, it's her angels everyone is drawn to and will remember her by. It's true her web friends feel as if they know her when they visit her site. And we will be ever grateful this part of her will live on as if she never left us. Peace and Love, Linda

Mom, I can't find the words, my heart is broken for I miss you so all ready. I am so thankful for the past year and a half. I have come to know your strength and determination and I will forever admire the woman you were. I also came to know your loving side which is a part of you I failed to see for many years. In the quiet times sitting by your bed you comforted me instead of me you. I understand more about how hard it us to be a parent and how easy it is to armor yourself from the pain and struggle that life sometimes deals us. I am proud to be your daughter and I want you to know I am a better person for this year and a half we have spent together. Thursdays and Sundays will never be the same. Kiss Dad and Mark for me. Till we meet again you are in my thoughts every day. I love you Mom. Karen

I am so very, very sorry, for all of my cousins. The world is a lesser place without Esther and even Heaven is improved by her presence, there. But, she is in Fred's loving arms; I KNOW that, and I can only hope that each of her children knows that, also. Time will dull the pain and the ache, but it will NEVER heal the loss. My heart is broken, too, along with the hearts of each of Esther's children.
