Obituary of Ernest G. Hiersche

"Bondsville-Ernest G. Hiersche, 67, of Forest St. passed away August 31, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Ludlow on April 2, 1942, he was the son of the late Ernest and Alfreda (Peczka) Hiersche. Ernest grew up in Ludlow and has lived in Palmer for the rest of his life. From 1982 until his retirement in 2008, Ernest was employed at Titeflex Manufacturing as an engineer. Ernest was very involved in Amvets Post 74 in Three Rivers and was an avid golfer. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 47 years, Judith (Nadolny) along with his three children, Kimberly Lalumiere and her husband Maurice of Belchertown, Alan Hiersche of Three Rivers, and Eric Hiersche and his wife Margaret of Bondsville. Ernest also leaves his grandchildren, Erica, Hilary, Alicia, Joel, Kaila, Cienna, Jenna, Megan, Emily and one great grandson Jacob Ernest. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Jean Morrissette. Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 4th, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home on Saturday, Sept. 5th at 9:00 a.m. to process to St. Anne's Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
