Obituary of Iva D Bovat

"Palmer-Iva D. (Steele) Bovat, 94, a longtime resident of the Three Rivers section of Palmer, died peacefully in her home on Sunday July 5, 2009. She is greeted into Heaven by her late husband, Leo F. Bovat who passed away in 1961. She was also greeted by her grandchild Scott previously of Belchertown. Iva was an LPN for over 20 years, retiring from the Belchertown State School in 1979. Iva leaves behind her son, Ralph Bovat and his wife Joyce of Bondsville along with her daughter Carol Leroux and her husband Rene with whom she lived. She was also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; all of whom she loved very much and who loved her as much in return. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. A memorial graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Cemetery.
