Obituary of Gina Dee Carter

"Belchertown and Freeport, FL-Gina Dee (McCannon) Carter, 29, passed away June 4, 2009 in Freeport, FL. Born in Northampton, MA on July 24, 1979, she was the daughter of Gene McCannon and Darlene (Williams) McCannon Beatty. Gina has lived in Florida for the past 8 years, previously residing in Belchertown. She received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology at Elms Catholic College in MA and was formerly employed at Kent Lawn Funeral Home in Panama City, FL. Gina was a very loving and caring mother and wife. She was dedicated to her faith and helping the elderly and less fortunate. Gina will be greatly missed by her husband Chris Carter of FL along with her two children Isabella Sophia Curto and Christopher Jaydin Carter. In addition to her parents, she leaves her step father, Billy Beatty along with grandparents Mike and Rita Orr of Belchertown as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her adored brother Billy McCannon in 2005. Visitation will be held Monday July 13 from 4:00-6:30 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home with a remembrance time beginning at 6:30 p.m. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Quabbin Park Cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. "
