Obituary of Molly G Tschirret

" Molly Tschirret of Silver St., died September 25th at home. Born in Holyoke, July 22, 1916, Molly was the daughter of the late Stanley and Zuzannah (Piterack) Balicki. She was raised and educated in Holyoke before moving to South Hadley in 1950. Molly worked for numerous years at Mount Holyoke College and retired in 1987 from Holyoke Community College after 15 years. She was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Church and loved time at home, especially preparing her scrumptious pies and cakes from scratch for others to enjoy. She is survived by her son Daniel Tschirret with whom she lived and her sister Elizabeth Ahearn of Holyoke and a brother Fredryck Balicki of Newington CT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her close friends Pauline Rytuba of Hadley and Olga Lajzer of South Hadley. Molly was predeceased by her husband Lucien in 1995 and her three sisters, Helen Kwiatkowski, Julie Kilcoyne and Jane O’Connor. A memorial Mass will held at St. Theresa's Church in South Hadley on October 16th at 9:45 a.m. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. The family has requested that donations may be made in her memory to the St. Theresa’s Building Fund, 9 East Parkview St. South Hadley, MA 01075. "
