Obituary of Stanley P. Makuch

"Belchertown-Stanley P. Makuch, 86, of Pine Valley Plantation, passed away June 13, 2009 at Lifecare Center Wilbraham. Born in Holyoke on March 8, 1923, he was the son of the late Frederick Seech and Nellie (Krol) Makuch. Stanley previously lived in Agawam and has lived in Belchertown for the past 10 years. He retired from American Saw after many years of employment. Stanley was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed watching the games. He was predeceased by his wife Frances (Hebert) and will be greatly missed by his children, Dianne Brennan and her husband Leonard of Palmer, Michael Makuch and his wife Dell of Georgia, Jeff Makuch and his wife Donna of Southwick, and Wendy Perry and her husband Joseph of Florida. Stanley also leaves 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 2 on the way. Visitation will be held Tuesday June 16th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St., (Rte 202). A graveside service will follow on Thursday at Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield. Donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society. "
