Obituary of Eva Gosselin

"Palmer- Eva (Cote) Gosselin, 99, of Overlook Dr. died September 9 at a local nursing home. She was born in Canada, August 9, 1905, the daughter of the late Antoine and Domithelde (Gauthier) Cote. Eva has lived in Leviston, Maine and Springfield before making her home with her daughter and son-in-law in Palmer for the past 19 years. She was a goldstar mother having lost a son Richard in the Korean war. Her husband of 72 years, Albert died in 1997. Eva was the beloved mother of three daughters and son-in-laws; Theresa and John LeBel of Enfield, CT, Lucille and Ivan Derosiers of Ludlow, Lorraine and James Thompson of Palmer, with whom she lived. She also leaves nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home with a mass at St. Thomas Church Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. and burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made in Eva’s memory to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. "
