Obituary of Martha A. Sisco

" Martha A. (Richardson) Sisco, 52, of Mechanic St, died Wednesday at home after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June. Born in Palmer, February 29, 1952, she was the daughter of Arthur, Sr. and Clara (Fuller) Richardson of Monson. Martha was a 1970 graduate of Monson High School where she excelled in softball, basketball and field hockey. She lived briefly in Belchertown and Palmer before returning to Monson seven years ago. She was a passionate golfer and a member of Mill Valley Golf Course in Belchertown. She was also a proficient bowler and was on television for five weeks in 1988 in a candlepin bowling competition. Besides her parents, she will be deeply missed by her husband of 15 years Keith Sisco, along with her two sons, Mark Olson of Belchertown, and Keith Sisco, Jr. at home, and her daughter Rebecca Olson currently of Monson. She also leaves her five sisters and three brothers, Sharon Bliss of Monson, Arthur “Buddy” Richardson, Jr. and his wife Dawn, of Vernon Center, NY, her twin sister Marcia Dryjowicz and her husband Robert of Bradenton, FL, Roberta Gralenski and her fiancé Thomas Bessette, Robert and his wife Pamela, all of Monson, Laura Richardson and her husband Michael Vail of Southampton, Steven Richardson of Brimfield, Sheila Morin and her husband Michael of Monson, and along with many nieces, nephews and her closest friend Sue Peterson of Palmer. A Remembrance of Life service will be held on Monday September 13th at 12:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St, followed by burial in Hillcrest Cemetery, Monson. Calling hours with Video Tribute will be Saturday, September 11th, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
