You were still very young when I left home. When our children were young we made many trips to B'town for New Years celebrations. I can still see David playing with the nieces and nephews. They would wrap him up, head to toe in Christmas decorations and tape. When they were through he would look like a mummy. They loved their uncle for his good natured, playful spririt. The Barretts from metropolitan DC area regret they did not get to know David better in his later years. Much love- Paul & Margery and family.

You will be adored and missed by all. Although it has been many years since I have seen David and his family I cannot help but be deeply sorrowed by his untimely death. As a fellow Barrett I know he was a kind and noble soul who obviously had higher callings then those put here for him on earth. May he watch over us all.

Marta and family of 'David". A great man we had the pleasure to know and we will always remember David. It was such a shock to hear that a good friend of ours passed away, still can't believe it.To think it wasn't a year ago that David came to our house to pay his repects to my father, Who would of known that not even a year would past and he would be gone as well. Unbelieveable. It is like everyone says God only takes the best, But why everyone that we know, it seems that way. David was the kindest loving man that we knew, always had a smile on and was there to help anyone. We will remember our friend in Life as well as death, as he was Our Friend forever. How sad we are to not have been there to say Good Bye. But knowing David , he knows we are thinking of him to this day. Please except our condolences and know you are in our Hearts as David will be always.
