Obituary of Dolores M. Disque

"Belchertown – Dolores M. (Gaska) Disque, 67, of Sherwood Dr., passed away with her family by her side on April 27, 2009 at Baystate Medical Center. Born October 25, 1941, in Rothschild, WI, daughter of Sigmund and Magdalene (Pazio) Gaska, Dolores was raised in Rothschild and graduated from D.C. Everest High School. Dee lived in Belchertown for 24 years and was a communicant of St. Francis Church. She was a teacher's assistant for the Northampton School system for 21 years. Some of her greatest joys in life were singing and cooking, but most important to her were the memories she made of times spent with cherished family and friends. She is survived by her devoted husband George Disque of 41 years and two beloved children Eric Disque of Watertown, MA and Kimberly Perkins of Colchester, VT. She will also be missed by three sisters Eleanor Pelot of Rothschild, WI, Barbara Jarovski of Sioux Falls, SD and Rita Mell of Fresno, CA. She was predeceased by a sister Bernice Midlikowski and a granddaughter Kate Marie Perkins. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday morning for 9:15 a.m. to follow to St. Francis Church for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. Burial will follow in South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Vermont Community Foundation to benefit the Kate Marie Perkins Memorial Fund, P.O.
