Obituary of Michael J. Posusky

" Michael J. Posusky, 61, of Cubles Drive, died Friday at Umass Medical Center in Worcester. Born in Springfield, Jan. 19, 1943, he was the son of Stephanie M. (Janecyek) Posusky of Enfield, and the late Michael M. Posusky. Michael grew up in Springfield, a graduate of Cathedral High School and moved to Brimfield 22 years ago. He worked for Arrow Gas in Rochdale, MA for the past eight years. He previously worked for United Technologies and American Bosch for many years. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1961 – 1965. He also loved his motorcycle and truck, trips to the Maine coast, and loved hunting and fishing. Along with his mother, he will be deeply missed by his wife of 22 years, Carol (Kibbe) Posusky, his two sons, Michael G. Three Rivers, and Dale C.of Agawam , his two daughters Julie Able and Laura Smith both of Springfield, along with several grandchildren. He also leaves a sister Betty M. Posusky of Enfield, CT, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be Wednesday, July 28 at 9:30 a.m. in the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St, (Rte 20) followed by a committal service at 11:00 a.m. in Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Donations may be made in his memory to the Disabled American Veterans."
