Obituary of Edwin A. Whipple

" Edwin A. Whipple, 57, of Franklin St., died July 14 at home. Born on Nov. 23, 1946, in Ware, MA, he was the son of the late Edward & Lillian (Harris) Whipple. Edwin was raised in Pelham, MA prior to moving to Danielson, CT. Ed was a volunteer for the Pelham fire department for 34 years he was an EMT for both Pelham and Northampton Ambulance service. Ed is survived by his wife of 17 years Stacey (Mercer) Whipple, a daughter Jennifer of Holyoke, MA a sister Gail McLaughlin of Stafford Springs, CT and a half sister Charlotte Szlosek of W. Brookfield. A funeral service will be Sunday at 7:00 pm in the BEERS & STORY BELCHERTOWN FUNERAL HOME. Calling hours will precede the service from 5-7:00pm. Burial is private. Contributions may be made in Edwin’s memory to his family. "
