Obituary of Carole Ann Kamins

"Belchertown – Carole Ann (St. Germain) Kamins, 75, of Chadbourne St., passed away on April 24, 2009 at Baystate Medical Center with her family at her side. Born March 11, 1934, in Holyoke, MA, daughter of Napoleon E. (Pete) and Sadie Mae (Carrol) St. Germain. She was raised in Chicopee and graduated from Chicopee High School. Carole has lived in Belchertown for over 60 years and was a long time communicant and choir member of St. Francis Church. Carole was a business owner and Apartment Manager of Kamins Real Estate in Amherst for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Patrick D. Kamins in 1985 and a brother Donald St. Germain. She will be deeply missed by her three children Ray G. Peetz and his wife Michele of Orlando, FL, Sherry Reilly and her husband Robert of Fredericksburg, VA and Patrick D. Kamins, II and his wife Laurie of Belchertown. She also leaves three siblings Robert St. Germain of Perterburg, PA, Peter St. Germain of Belchertown and Donna St. Germain of Enfield, Ct, seven grandchildren Ryan Peetz, Craig Barber, Jeni Peetz, Kerri Barber, Staci Reilly, Erica and Jack Kamins and two great grandchildren Kolby and Ella Peetz as well as five nieces and four nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home. Family and friends may gather at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday to proceed to a 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Francis Church, burial will follow in West Cemetery in Granby.
