Obituary of Elizabeth C Franceschina

" Elizabeth (Starzyk) Franceschina, 67, of Margaret St, died Monday with her daughter, Theresa, by her side. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, May 25, 1937, she was the daughter of Stella (Michalik) Starzyk of Holland, and the late Albert Starzyk. She lived in Hampden, MA for six years before moving to Monson 19 years ago. Mrs.Franceschina was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, worked briefly as a legal secretary and volunteered at the Monson Senior Center. Elizabeth loved gardening and camping, trips to the beach and was a wonderful cook. She was predeceased by her husband Louis in 1997. Besides her mother, she is survived by her two sons Charles Allen of CT, Michael Allen of Western MA, and Theresa Bedard of Monson, along with her two sisters Rose Leanna of Virginia and Dorothy Cloutier of Holland. She also leaves her 8 cherished grandchildren, and two step daughters Susan Franceschina of TN, and Debbie Ziemba of Ware. She was predeceased by a grandson Andy Walkman.
